Polish enterprises investments in software and hardware in 2010 did not exceed PLN 25 billion. Last year amounted to PLN 50 billion, and by the end of 2020 they will significantly exceed PLN 60 billion. However, if companies in Poland spent on digitalization such percentage of GDP as companies in the Czech Republic, their expenditures would grow to PLN 80 billion. Digital technologies are still a challenge, but they have a huge chance to avoid several stages and take over positions of the leaders.
