The integration process of eCard and Dotpay, two companies in the wallet of MCI.EuroVentures, has finished. Now one unified organization, implementing the strategy of two brands, is announcing great results and the plans of development for next year.

'We’ve exceeded our original expectations in  terms of processed transactions and we’re close to reaching the planned results for this year in terms of EBTIDA results,' says Łukasz Wierdak, Private Equity Managers Investment Partner. In Q4 2017 the company counts on larger income, due to the holiday shopping spree between October and December. The newest law forbidding trade on Sundays not including e-shops might influence growth next year.

eCard and Dotpay are planning to introduce a number of new features, including deferred payment. The service may be introduced in Q1 of 2018, if an appropriate financial partner will be found by this time. The payment companies belonging to MCI Group’s funds, will launch a financial service directed at small and medium-sized enterprises, becoming a distribution channel for the banks and the loan companies in 2018.

Within the framework of 'Cashless Poland' programme coordinated by the government, in the following three years around 600 bln PLN will be spent to make sure that small and medium enterprises will have at least one payment terminal. For eCard and Dotpay it’s a great opportunity to gain more merchants. It might be one of the biggest growth factors in offline sector.
