Without queues, without cashier and cashless, first totally automatic store just opened in Warsaw. You just simply take what you want from the shelf, and scan it yourself. Afterwards without waiting in the queue you are done with your shopping. The concept Scan&Go comes from Carrefour chain and is test in Poland.

Why to implement this system? For sure to decrease costs of employees, cashiers won’t disappear, but there will be less of them needed.  Second objective of Scan&Go concept is to attract young customers, that are following tech-trends and are willing to come to store just to test it. Moreover it will reduce the time that customers have to spend on shopping.
