Gett, the largest and fastest-growing company offering professional passenger transport services outside the USA, revealed the number of rides conducted in Russia thanks to its app in December 2016. With 8.3 million of rides, Gett app was the second most popular in its category in Russia, overtaking Uber. 

Russia is one of the key markets for Gett, where the company is one of the strongest players. Other ones are United Kingdom and Israel. Gett generates most of its revenue from B2C services, while the significant competitive edge of its business model comes from B2B services.
Gett has been a part of MCI.TechVentures fund’s portfolio since 2015. In 2016 Volkswagen made a USD 300 million strategic investment in the company. The partnership of Gett and Volkswagen is based on a joint growth strategy to expand on-demand mobility services in Europe.
