Spark Software from Internet Ventures portfolio launches SeaYou: a mobile app eliminating need for checkout lines

Published

Polish company Spark Software from Internet Ventures portfolio launched a world-unique mobile app SeaYou that makes shopping in brick-and-mortar stores more convenient and cheaper. The solution developed by Polish entrepreneurs is agnostic, i.e. it can be easily implemented in every chain of retail stores and used by its customers.

The key feature of SeaYou mobile app is eliminating need for checkout lines. The customer can walk out of the store with the products he desires without having to go through the checkout desks – scanning the bar codes on the products and paying through the app is enough. The app also provides the user with personalized promotional offers on the spot, basing on a direct link between consumers and producers of fast-moving goods.
Spark Software, the developer of the SeaYou app, is a part of Internet Ventures portfolio that focuses on investments in such sectors as: electronic media, e-commerce, web and wireless (mobile) technologies and services, early stage and growth companies with prospects for success on the Polish, European and global market.
Among other notable assets of Internet Ventures are such companies as: RemoteMyApp (developer of Remotr, an app which allows its users to stream multimedia content from their desktop PCs or laptops to a smartphone or tablet) and Prowly (an online platform for PR pros designed to streamline their media relations efforts).
